Privacy Policy

Who we are

Flowridium Ltd ("Flowridium", "we", "us") is a UK company registered in England and Wales, company number 17392408, VAT number 527 3323 04, registered office at 3 High Ridge Close, Arundel, BN18 9ES. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy, and are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration reference ZC228016.

What we collect

We only collect personal data that you choose to give us. That happens in a couple of places on this site:

• The enquiry form (on the Contact panel and on the ROI calculator page): your name, company name, email address and whatever you write in the message field. Two hidden fields—a blank "website" box and a short-lived token—exist only to help us tell a genuine enquiry from an automated one; they don't identify you and aren't used for anything else.
• Direct contact: if you email or call us instead of using the form, we hold whatever you send us—typically your name, contact details and the content of the message.

We do not use analytics, advertising or marketing-tracking tools of any kind on this site. We don't build a profile of visitors, and we don't know who's browsing unless you get in touch.

Cookies

This site does not set any cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, and it doesn't run a cookie banner because it doesn't need one—nothing non-essential is set automatically when you visit.

The one exception is the Videos page, which embeds YouTube videos in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). In this mode YouTube does not set cookies when the page loads; if you choose to press play, YouTube may then set its own cookies to run the player, governed by Google's privacy policy, which is outside our control.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• Responding to enquiries—name, company, email and message are used to reply to you, understand what you need, and follow up about a possible project. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in running a consultancy business and answering enquiries sent to us, which we consider is not outweighed by any impact on you, since you've contacted us for that purpose.
• Delivering a contract—if an enquiry turns into paid work, we'll use your details to deliver it, invoice it, and communicate about it. Lawful basis: performance of a contract, and our legal obligations (for example, keeping records for tax purposes).

We don't use your data for any automated decision-making or profiling.

How your enquiry reaches us

When you submit the enquiry form, the details you enter are sent via Web3Forms, a form-processing service, which relays them straight to our inbox at enquiry@flowridium.co.uk. Web3Forms acts as a data processor on our behalf: it doesn't use your data for anything beyond delivering it to us, and retains the submission on its own systems for up to 3 years before automatic deletion, under its own privacy policy. Because Web3Forms' infrastructure isn't limited to the UK, any transfer of your data outside the UK or EEA is made under Standard Contractual Clauses, a safeguard recognised under UK GDPR.

Who we share it with

We don't sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share enquiry form data with Web3Forms (see above) purely to have it delivered to us, and, where a project goes ahead, with the tools needed to deliver and invoice the work (for example accounting software)—each acting under their own data protection obligations to us. We disclose data to a third party without your consent only where required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and correspondence data for 24 months from your last contact with us, unless you become a client, in which case we retain project- and contract-related records for as long as needed to deliver the work and meet our legal and tax obligations (typically at least 6 years after the relevant tax year, in line with HMRC requirements). After the relevant period, we delete or anonymise the data.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it (right of access).
• Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data (right to rectification).
• Ask us to delete your data, where there's no good reason for us to keep it (right to erasure).
• Ask us to restrict how we use your data in certain circumstances (right to restriction).
• Object to us using your data where we rely on legitimate interests (right to object).
• Ask for your data in a portable, machine-readable format, where technically feasible (right to data portability).

To exercise any of these, email enquiry@flowridium.co.uk. We'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)—though we'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the personal data we hold from loss, misuse or unauthorised access, including restricting who can access our email and business systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we don't hold more data, or keep it for longer, than this policy describes.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and professionals, not children. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time—for example, if we start using a new tool or service. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Significant changes will be reflected here; we'd encourage checking back occasionally if you've previously contacted us.
